Chris Hardy, Indoor Cycle Instructor

Chris has been involved in sports all her life. In her younger years she competed in springboard and platform diving at the provincial and national level. Chris competed in rowing while at Brock University and prior to having children. She has also completed numerous triathlons.

After a knee injury forced Chris to give up running, she focused more on cycling. She became a certified indoor cycling instructor 7 years ago.

Chris’ certifications include Reebok Cycle and Keiser M3+ Foundations.

Chris welcomes the challenge of pushing herself to her limit.

In her class, Chris enjoys being able to help others push themselves and “dig deep”, regardless of their fitness level. She feels her class is successful if the participants feel a sense of accomplishment and look forward to coming back. Chris also appreciates how the music can set the tone for the class. Not everyone has the same taste in music, so it helps to have a variety of tunes. ‘It’s a great feeling when you’re immersed in the music and the ride in your own little zone’.

Chris lives in Oakville with her husband and 3 teenage children.
